artist coaching f&q

below are the answers to frequently asked questions about artist coaching and our potential creative partnership.

What type of results can I expect from coaching?

The  result of Coaching is always action that you will be taking, specifically making stuff happen in the direction of your dream & goals. You will leave each coaching session with at least 1-2 actionable steps that produce results in physical reality.

You will experience moving from a state of overwhelm, freeze or "stuck", in to creative flow after just one session. This is guaranteed.

Clients also tend to find more time freedom, fulfillment and increased energy.

Are you a coach for any specific art form or craft?

My coaching work is not exclusive to one professional field, rather, anyone who is currently operating in a professional capacity and would like to deepen their practice and expand professionally will benefit from this partnership.

Coaching applies to the process of creation and ideation rather than the specific technical details. It is about sharpening the consistency of your mindset to stay focused on what is possible and what is valuable exploration in order to stay in a productive momentum. These aspects are essential for personal and professional growth, regardless of the specific professional realm.

Professional coach practitioners typically bring their own life's work and experiences to the practice alongside the professional tools that are applied, making each coaching partnership unique.

I don’t think of myself as creative but I have an idea I’d like to explore.

I  use creative strategies to empower my clients to take calculated risks and take steps towards their goals. You don’t need to think of yourself  as an artist or creative to work with me.

I don’t have enough time to commit to coaching right now. What should I do?

Life never stops, and the more we "wait for the perfect moment", the more we end up just "waiting".

Coaching is designed to help you move through each moment of our life by staying in balance with your priorities, while simultaneously moving towards your desired goals and outcomes for your creative projects.

We wouldn't want you taking two weeks off of your life just to focus on coaching, because then we wouldn't be authentic in integrating your creative process into your current flow, and that's part of the goal of working together.

Achieving this balance is how we will build your creative process!

I’m curious to find out more but unsure if coaching is right for me.

This is completely understandable and very common. Please get in touch via my connect page, and I’ll happily answer any of your questions or concerns.

What if this doesn't work, what if I fail?

I've heard this before and have good news: as long as you are taking steps, it is impossible to fail.

Failure occurs when we stay stuck or frozen and don’t take action. Any designated action towards your vision is you demonstrating success, which I define as “doing what you said you would do with clarity, focus, ease and grace”.

Can I buy 1-3 sessions, and go from there?

After the Momentum Builder Program, we will decide together if a 3 month coaching continuation program is the right step for you.

Three months is the minimum amount of time necessary to adapt and integrate your new process, as it takes time and energy to make the kind of changes necessary and strategize for long-term results.

You can buy as many one-off Momentum Builder Sessions as you want, but in order to create permanent and long-term changes to your professional or artistic process, collaborating on a consistent basis yields the best results.

I encourage you to send me an email if there is anything I haven’t covered in these answers.
